About Us

Your Local Bike Shop

We’re passionate about bicycles. We believe that bikes offer a simple solution to many of our communities’ complex problems. We ride what we sell!

Located just across from University of Virginia grounds, we are here to serve the community and all types of cyclists. Wrenching on bikes is what we do best, but we sell bikes and accessories as well. Swing by today, give us a call, or check out our website to see what we have in stock.

Jamie, Owner of Endeavor Cycles

Jamie grew up in a small town about an hour south of Charlottesville. His passion for cycling started in 1989 watching the Tour de France and he started riding that year and has never stopped. His love of cycling has taken him up and down the East Coast, as well as a few places on the West coast.

Attending colleges in Vermont and Illinois, completing a BA in History at DePaul University. Jamie’s path has taken him from food services, to owning a small clothing boutique, to managing a bank, but one thing has remained a constant, his love of cycling. This lead him to the opening of Endeavor Cycles!

If he is not riding a bike or at the shop working with customers, he is at home with his wonderful wife, Eva and their little daughter, Grace.

Ben fell in love with bikes when attending school in Western North Carolina. Being a passionate commuter, he began wrenching on bikes at the local co-op and racing collegiately in the southeastern conference.

Since then he has travelled all over the country, working in shops in the Southeast, New England, and Southeastern Utah. Missing the Blue Ridge and Appalachian mountains brought Ben to the Charlottesville area, where he has been working at Endeavor since 2019.

Hailing from the south, Teri was excited to join the vibrant cycling community of Central Virginia and the Blue Ridge. You can find Teri pedaling on the road, trails, gravel, in the national forest or here at Endeavor wrenching bikes.

Sammy - Shop Dog

If you swing by the shop, chances are you will be greeted by Sammy the sweet shop dog.

Tony hails from the Midwest where he has spent years in the bike industry. When he's not at the shop you can find him slinging coffee at various farmers markets around town.

Our resident highschool shredder, Soren is wrenching in the shop when he's not in school or out on the trails. Don't be fooled by his young looks, he probably knows more about mountain bikes than you or me!
